What is this really?

I know the purpose of THEMOODIVERSE is to be a platform for all forms of content. But what this is, is me exposing myself.

You know how some pastors seemingly have a holy appearance, but then you find out they are adulterous, drunkards, liars, thieves, etc. These are the types of stories that for many of people I’ve talked with was a major factor for them leaving the church, and in some cases leaving Christianity altogether. Some people ask for grace and forgiveness for their “slip-ups,” or they throw out the “I’m only human” card. Yet, the scripture is very upfront about the call, the weight of these positions in the body, and the standards. I can’t speak for them. But what I can do is use these situations and try to do better.

So while this isn’t going to be an obsessive look into my everyday life, this will be a look inside my everyday mindset, my everyday lifestyle. I don’t want to be a stumbling block for anyone. And if I’m going to continue into ministry, and possibly progress further, I want to be open about who I am, what I believe, and how I live. I pray my light won’t be a motion light that only is lit when someone is close, but that the light of Christ is constantly shining.
